The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka was a short read at about 78 pages but managed to emotionally destroyed me nonetheless in such a short amount of time. It was my introduction to Kafka's works and it was probably the best intoduction you can get to the kafkaesque world of this author. With an interesting topic and a quick read time, I recommend this to anyone who enjoys strange and surreal concepts in writing or wish to cry at least a little over a very human bug. 4.5/5 overall.
